Nathan Bowman

 Hello friends, my name is Nathan Bowman. I am from and live in Cherryville, NC, with my wife and children. We have three boys, one girl, and a grandson. We attend First Baptist Church, where I serve as a deacon, the Properties Chairman, and Director of our Handyman Team. I also hold an associate’s degree in Fire Science.

I currently serve as the Training Captain at the Cherryville Fire Department. I also own and operate Nate and Sons Handyman LLC while organizing Go Today Ministries, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.

I started serving in missions in 2023 and simply can’t get enough. In late 2025, I came up with the idea for Go Today Ministries. I had been asked to travel to Alaska to help with some construction work, but I had so much money tied up in my business that I truly didn’t have the funds to go. I searched the internet for ways to apply for a grant or find an organization that could sponsor the trip, but I couldn’t find anything that truly existed to fill that need.

God ultimately provided the funds—enough not only for me to go, but for a friend to go as well. Since then, God has been leading each of us at Go Today Ministries to follow the passion He placed on my heart. Our goal is to continue following God’s calling while helping others answer their calling and “Go Today,” wherever that may be.
